Gingivectomy: surgical removal of gingiva as indicated where the tooth is covered by excess gingiva.  In our practice, it is performed utilising laser

Frenectomy: surgical removal of the mucosa that connects the top lip to the gingiva of the two front teeth the frenum. Especially in cases where it pushes the two upper front teeth apart. In the bottom jaw the frenum ,which connects the lower lip with the two middle incisors of the bottom jaw, can pull the gum tissue doen causing recession. This is also treated with laser.

Apicectomy: a tooth that has been root canal treated but the area of infection around the tip of the root is not healing due to the formation of a cyst, can be surgically treated by removing the tip of the tooth( apex) and removing the infection. The life of the tooth can be extended.

Full dental rehabilitation: when the number of teeth that needing treatment is too extensive. All to most teeth require treatment to correct the balance, chewing function and aesthetics.

Treatment of receding gums: gingival transplant in cases where there is no gingival infection and that one or multiple teeth has open roots and sensitivity.

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special kind of x-ray machine used in situations where regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. This type of CT scanner uses a special type of technology to generate three dimensional (3-D) images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan. Images obtained with cone beam CT allow for more precise treatment planning.
